On February 26th, 2014 we were traveling back home from a dinner ride. We were going 45mph, when a car pulled out in front of us. With no place to go, my husband laid the bike down as we made contact with the car.

I remember being stretched out on the highway, sliding like I was trying to make it to home base. My husband remained with the bike because he hhad held on to the bars. so when the bike stopped traveling, it had landed on his foot.

We substained brokenen bones, road rash, twisted ankle with infection in the skin and lots of bruises. but we are so thankful to be here.

My injuries require longterm healing, so I was let go of my job and my husband is self empolyed, his injuries kept him from working. A member of Fallen Riders board (and friend) contacted us when they heard about our accident. During such a stressful time, it was nice to have a helping hand. FR board met & agreed to make a house payment for us. With all the mounting medical cost and bike loss, this gift truely blessed us.

Thanks FR Board

To whom it may concern:

The Fallen Riders Fund is inspired by a man I am proud to call a friend. (Drew Jensen) His mom and dad & other friends came up with this great foundation to help those in their time of need in memory of the way their son lived and touched so many lives in his short time on this earth. He had a rough side, a soft side, and a big compassionate heart. He could be tough as nails or as soft as a teddy bear, but he lived life to the fullest and experienced a lot. It didn't matter where you were from, what you did, believed in, or how rich or poor. He had friends from all walks of life. Therefore the Fallen Riders Fund has adopted the same ideas in helping anyone they can through a rough time, touching lives of the person that suffers the tragedy as well as his, or hers family and friends. The community with their mission and help that is so needed when an accident strikes anyone. I got involved with this cause the first year and every year since by donations, sponsorship and encouraging others to support this worthy cause. On November 1st, 2013 I had a very severe, near fatal motorcycle crash lacerating my spleen, rupturing my sternum, breaking my hand, four ribs, my eye socket, bone facial abrasions, separating my shoulder & fracturing two vertebraes in my back. I was too proud to ask for any help and yet the members came to me and offered anyway knowing that I was way worse off then I let on and they provided my wife and I with a check in the amount of $500.00. That was a godsend in our time of need. So you never know when yourself or someone you love might benefit by this foundations work & dedication to help others. I encourage everyone to support this great cause.
